Dan Kammen: Innovation for a Clean Economy
In his Spring Oppenheim Lecture on March 31, 2010, Dan Kammen talked about if and how we can achieve a low-carbon/no-carbon economy.
He noted that there are number of 'high impact' innovations that are specifically needed to alter our energy system. He examined a number of these tipping points in the energy system, with examples and applications drawn from the US, Portugal, China, Nicaragua, and east Africa.
You can also listen to a podcast of his entire lecture and view a copy of his Powerpoint Presentation.
