- THE FAIR
At E3 and UCLA Sustainability's annual Earth Day Fair, students have the chance to interact with over 50 on- and off-campus environmental organizations. These groups will do various informative activities with the students while sharing their sustainability efforts, achievements and opportunities for involvement.
- THE RAFFLE
After visiting a certain number of groups, students may enjoy our free food and enter a raffle to win awesome prizes like bikes from Helen's Cycles, CSA boxes, mushroom home-growing kits, gift certificates, eco-friendly swag, bus passes and more! See "Raffle" below for more info.
- GREEN CHEF
Green Chef is an outdoor, vegan cooking contest between competing student groups of 1-4, which will be taking place on the IM Fields during the Fair from 11:45-1:15pm. They contestants are judged by a panel of professional chefs for some awesome prizes TBA and the GLORY of being named UCLA's Green Chefs of 2013! Click here to learn more and here to participate.
- LIVE MUSIC
The lovely sounds of two student musicians, The Street Hearts and India Carney, will be caressing your ears from 12-1!
- SWAP MEET
Nourish International at UCLA will be holding a Swap Meet in which students are encouraged to shop in a sustainable way, bringing to our booth not cash but rather items they'd like to trade and exchange. We all have that sweater, that book, that CD that we've loved, used up, and are lovingly looking to get rid of-- Nourish's Swap Meet will give you the chance to swap those goods for the stuff of other students. Like the old adage goes "One man's Beatles T-Shirt is another man's Keep Calm and Carry On poster."
