Join the Lewis Center and Institute of Transportation Studies for a conversation with Christopher Nash and Louis Thompson, who together will discuss lessons learned from high-speed rail projects around the world. Nash and Thompson will also touch on issues connected to California's own high-speed rail project. A Q&A session will take place at the conclusion of the discussion.

About the speakers:
Christopher Nash
A Research Professor at the University of Leeds in England, Dr. Nash has over 30 years of experience in transport economics. Professor Nash has been an advisor to the European Commission High Level Group on Transport Infrastructure Charging and is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Transport Policy.
Louis Thompson
Mr. Thompson, Principal at Thompson, Galenson and Associates, a consulting firm working with public & commercial clients on railway and transportation issues in the U.S. & worldwide, is a member of the California High-Speed Rail Peer Review Group and holds an MBA from Harvard University.
