Lecturer Positions Available
UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability is seeking qualified applicants for Lecturer positions for the 2013-2014 academic year.
Deadline: July 15, 2013
Position: Lecturer positions available in the Institute of the Environment and Sustainability at UCLA (2013-2014). Percentage of employment will vary according to number of courses taught.
Duties: Teach lecture and/or seminar courses in environmental science or policy and/or sustainability; plan and coordinate discussion activities; supervise teaching assistants; manage the acquisition and maintenance of course materials; develop computer applications for the classroom; supervise student projects; and maintain office hours.
Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in a relevant environmental or sustainability field including those in biological, physical or social science, urban planning or engineering and demonstrated experience in undergraduate teaching at the university level. Level of appointment and salary commensurate with qualifications, experience and duties.
